First Album, written at the age of 19

Both of these album covers relate to each other. The design of both covers are very similar, using the same style photography and emotion. They have both been done using portraiture photography, with almost the same expression. Adele's eyes are closed or she is looking down in both covers. 

I would say this therefore relates to the artist and how she is portraying her music. Her music is obviously quite soft and has a deep meaning, which could also be personal.

When talking about conventions, the titles are very similar. The only difference is, is that the number next to her name are different, which is due to it being the age that she wrote each of the albums.

I think from picking up the album, you can see whether the music might appeal to you, considering the dark colours and shades in the images, which could be looked at as the music being quite personal.

Therefore her latest album relates to other promotional products of Adele's, one being her first album cover. Her second album cover has obviously been influenced by her first and it could be something she continues to do throughout her albums.
